Colin has spent over 25 years working in contaminated land analysis, both with conventional laboratory as well as rapid on site methods. Previously he worked in Nuclear Medicine developing novel rapid clinical diagnostic technologies and was also involved in developing rapid microbiology methods. Colin is passionate about providing real time and accurate chemical analysis that is fit for purpose. Since setting up QROS in 2004, his company has provided rapid analysis methods for projects across the world, including the Excel building, O2, Stade de France, London 2012 and Crossrail. Colin is the principal designer of the QED HC-1 which is the only on site hydrocarbon analyser approved in the US as an equivalent to the laboratory based method 8015 for regulatory purposes.
