Thomas has been working as a project manager and technical expert for German filtration specialist MANN+HUMMEL for the past 7 years. His experience is based on material and product development projects focussed on bringing innovative filtration and separation solutions to a wide range of applications such as residential, commercial and industrial HVAC systems, automotive and railway vehicles, mobile air cleaners, fuel cell systems and more. He has also been involved in the development of monitoring systems and digital solutions which includes processing and analysis of indoor and outdoor air quality data in order to create a comprehensive approach to managing indoor air quality.
Simultaneous removal of multiple pollutants using composite filter media technology
In most air filter applications, a mixture of different particulate, gaseous and biological contaminants is present, while the available installation space for the filter element is generally very limited. This makes advanced filter media concepts which are able to remove several pollutants in a single step highly sought after. This seminar will give insights into tailor-made filtration and separation solutions which can be used to satisfy this demand.
